But over them, the light refracts through a translucent layer of jelly, mounded six feet deep in places, glowing softly in the dawn. I wanted to do a piece inspired by one of my favorite recent mythos stories. Ended up spending quite a while on a space art detour as I was working out the Milky Way background.
