The Question/Vic Sage was an investigative reporter that was investigating a criminal. His former high school science teacher introduced him to his invention called pseudoderm. This was an artificial skin that, unfortunately was toxic to an open wound. Sage utilized the pseudoderm to fashion a featureless mask and pursued his investigation, ultimately getting the criminal to confess. Now calling himself the Question, Sage embarked on a vigilante career. He’s been associated with the Justice League of America. When he was dying from cancer, he trained cop, Renee Montoya as his replacement.
