I never thought an apple could be so, I don't know. It almost looks as if it's a treasure, nestled away somewhere waiting for someone special to pluck it away from its hiding place.

I think the "overexposure" DavidTheDivine mentioned gives it splendid contrast, and a smooth ethereal look. It's a serene, almost surreal piece, and proves there can be beauty in the mundane and ordinary.
