thx, tho there are really only two textures (a paper and a half tone) everything else is just airbrush splat and cross hatching. Personally tired of realistic rendering lol why can't digi art look like it was drawn?

Drawn in Photoshop?! Photoshop is terrible with linework unless you draw it at 1200 DPI or something. That's pretty intense.
I just boot up SAI or some other vector assisted program if I feel for digital inks.
Either way, I like all the particles everywhere.
Keep at it!

Not true, I draw at 300-600 dpi (which is the same res I would scan real inks at) only. Learn to draw in PS and when you go to an art dept oyu don't have to sress whether they have specialty program or not, everyone has Photoshop. Anyways, I recorded the drawing part in 720p, so after the podcast I'll put up a vid. thx!

So is it pen tool or just super-thin 5 pixel lines?
When I do lineart in PS it turns... flat somehow:

Like the weights are off due to the brush not being able to go smaller than what Photoshop allows.
I'll definitaly check the video out because I'm curious.

thx, Tom let me design the lower half, and I changed 50% of the top. Added all the rings and stuff, and pumped up her gauntlet. The lower armor is jut me doing my best Spawn/Top Cow riff

Really wish DA would allow larger sizes to appear on my front page (or auto scale down to 900x900 or whatever), I went with smaller file size so I could run a large image in that box, I'll just get the podcast out so I can double up lol thx!

Thx, I have about 50 Jpegs, from beginning to end I'll cover int he cast and I recorded the drawing of it in hires. I tried to record the coloring, but I had to color this one quick I Started yesterday and wrapped up today. If I had an extra day I could record, as it slows things down a bit. But still, looking forward to getting that out Monday. I have one cast in the bag already, but I want to run this one first.
