One fight had an unusual outcome:
Thing began to feel funny after being close to Hulk long, then he felt dizzy & sick.
As he fell off a bridge, he changed,CHANGED back into Ben Grimm. Reed Richards found the loss of powers was permanent, so he built Ben an exo-skeleton that enabled him to continue to be the Thing (a great improvement over the Thing puppet Ben Grimm had to use in "It all began on Yancy Street".
The normal Ben Grimm reverted to Thing again, after the FF fought Galactus & The High Evolutionary...
