Here is the first page to a short story I just got dropped on. This one also features my super villain Cortex who on this page. Unfortunately, its a 6 page short story so it all has to happen very fast. I don't care, I'm just so flipping excited to be back doing comics. This is the first work I've had published in probably ten years so I'm geeked!!!

I hope you like it. My story telling is going to probably be a bit rough so let me know what you think.

Anyways, here is the story to the page.
Narrator : Dr. Buchanan has been given funding from some unknown big silent types to work on curing insanity. To be more specific, Schizophrenia. Which he suffers from, something he was sure to leave out when dealing with his investors. In the middle one of the test he has an episode. A migrane. He has had these before but never this bad the pain is like someone is tap dancing on his brain with spiked shoes. So disgusted with this pain that has plaqued him, he decides to test his work. Early as it may be, he cannot stand the torture any longer.

Dr. Buchanan, "Computer initiate command process 21.

Narrator : Snap. The cold steel clinches his skin as it locks him in to the device. This isn't going to be pretty. Restraints are for his own saftey.

Computer- "Acknowleged Dr.....Intiating 10......9......8.

Narrator : As the count down continued the Dr. began to find peace in the thought that he would be rid of this pain one of two ways. His science is correct and he is a very rich and revered man or any miscalculation could mean his death, but the end of the pain non the less.

Computer : 5....4......3......er....error....malfuntion....system overload!!!

Dr. Buchanan, "No! Computer initiate release....comput.....ARRRGGHH!

Narrator : The system is going into sequence but with 10 times the juice the good Dr. was expecting.......continued on page 2.
