Lt. Maria was so excited to be leading the Away Team for the first time. She was decisive and meticulous in handing out assignments, well prepared by her time in the Academy. In fact she was so impressive that jealousy welled up in the mind of the grizzled veteran who found himself taking orders from this "girl". He began to look for a way to get rid of her! That strangely glowing swamp might just do the trick!
Finding an excuse to lure her to the edge of the mire, the bitter old man grabbed her from behind. Knocking her communicator into the goop, he indulged a fantasy that had been building from the first time she reported to the ship and unzipped her uniform. Damn, she was even finer than imagined--- but there was no turning back now! He pushed her into the quicksand and left her to her doom.
Will someone answer her calls for help? Can she find her communicator somehow? Or is her first mission going to be her last?
