Description Arround the landfill sites, ravens often compete with bald eagles during the harsh canadian winter. But the last one has priority on the first one when food is available, although the advantage of ravens is their number.

Yukon, Canada.

This photo has been taken remaining in my car, the only way to shoot them without distrurbing.

Haha, I knew ravens were brave but even that surprises me!

Did you know that ravens also on occasion hunt and kill snow geese? While camping my mom and her husband caught some footage of it last year.

No, I did not know !

Might have been one with a disease ? Because I know geese can be very aggressive sometimes.

Maybe, but it was on its second attack when they found it, it had already killed one and was chasing the other. Snow geese are a lot smaller then Canadian geese and a tad more timid. But that's more of a guess.
