The picture is beautiful I love it! There is a Titanic Exhibit in Las Vegas at the Tropicanna but it leaves in Septemper. All the artifacts are real, so don't worry it's not a gimick.

Oh, it might be the one I got this at (or during, anyway). Actually, it's got to be the same one. It's the Titanic Artifact Exhibit, right? (Or whatever it's called) I freaked out so much (in a mostly good way) when I went to that... I mean, all that stuff, RIGHT THERE, straight from the ship... I got so emotional; Titanic (the real story as well as the movie) was like my first obsession so... yeah. I started crying all of a sudden while I was looking at some of the people's stuff in one of the rooms; I think there was a bracelet with a girl's name on it, (Amy? Abby? something like that) and all of a sudden I started wondering who she was and did she die and was she just like me and... yeah that did me in. And then afterwards I spent all my money (LITERALLY, lol) in the gift shop.
Oh and thanks for the comment. I'm glad you like it! (And sorry for rambling on and on after you so innocently mentioned the exhibit, lol )

Yes it was the very same one, I freaked when my mom let me go as a graduation present. The thing that got me the most was a letter that was written but was never sent... I started to think if it was a love letter or something. In the gift shop I only had 12$ to spend so I got the blue and white Titanic pin.
It's ok, ramble on it's good to hear someone enjoyed it so much .

(Good thing you don't mind me rambling, then, because I think you've just set me off again ^^)
Oh yes, all the mail that was never sent... the best thing for me though was the ship's whistle. When no one was looking I reached up and touched the tip of it very gently... I just couldn't help myself! And I loved that entire hallway that was built to look like a corridor on the ship; especially the doors that you walk through, I always loved those. Oh, and did you check your boarding pass to see if you lived? I was the only one in my family to live, and I even got a third-class ticket. O.O

I did to, my mom caught me though . Best thing for me was the recreation of the grand staircase we got pictures on it!
Yup I checked it and I lived, I was fist class. My name was Leila Saks (me and my mom saved our borading passes) I was Edgar Joseph Meyer's wife, my husband died though.

Oh yes, the grand staircase... love it, love it, love it. lol glad you lived too; too bad about your husband though
When did you go? You'll never believe this, but I actually ACCIDENTALLY went on April 15th... can you believe it??? For once in my life, I forgot what that day was, and all of a sudden in the middle of the exhibit I heard someone saying it was the 94th anniversary, and then I realized, and I happened to be standing in front of the sign that said the Titanic sank in the early hours of April 15, 1912... and I started bawling my eyes out. That was one of the craziest, most memorable moments of my life.
