Bleh...I wasted waaaaaaaay too much time on this, for nothing! Ok, so I do like the hair...(Except that it's totally defying gravity, but...) XD Well, I learned a lot...especially that I still need lots more practice. Will it never end?!! Failure after failure of digital crap, lol. I get frustrated quickly with this stuff because all the tutorials make it look so easy
Maybe it's easier than I'm making it... But it seems like when I try others' methods, I get bored with it (The worst time was when I was trying to do the 'greyscale' thing. Not only was it boring, but I felt like a cheater XD ) So I guess I'm just gonna keep attempting until I finally stumble upon something that produces decent results. It's back to the drawing board for me...GIMP

www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listin⦠it's 128 pages and he shows some of them, at first you think it's a bad idea because he has tutorials on Youtube/deviantART but this book covers everything you could need to know such as perspective/proportion/environments/art designs/the list goes on and it's design to teach super novices like us to learn everything about monguh

You have to use tutorials, never using tutorials (whether they're on paper or video) is like trying to solve a rubix cube without help
I'm as amateur as it gets but in one year it's a huge difference and I never practiced, this year I'm going to practice daily
