                                                        Ch. 3 First Encounter

"Well then I do suppose that introductions are in order so sister why don't you start" spoke the figure on the left looking over the being on the far right clad in aqua blue armor.
"Gladly brother" said the being on the right and looking at David. "I am Water general Nicor" she said bowing.
"I am Earth general Gomorrah" said the being clad in emerald green armor standing to the right of Nicor.
"I am Fire general Sodom" said the being clad in crimson red armor.
"And I am Wind general Dram" spoke the being clad in silver armor.
"And you must be the one known as David am I correct" boasted Nicor.
"I am but what concern is it to you" said David readying his defenses for what ever may occur.
"Oh no reason really just making sure that my assumption was correct that is all" said Nicor sarcastically.
"Urr can we just skip the mutual conversations for now and get down to business I'm getting bored here" blurted an irritated Sodom as two duel fire swords formed in his hands.
"Hot headed and hasty as ever aren't we brother" said Nicor snickering as two duel chakarams formed in her hands.
"I would hold your tongue if I were you sister" said Sodom turning his head to face Nicor.
"Aww a little hot under the helmet today are we" said Nicor mockingly.
"Why do they always do this it's so tiring" said Gomorrah as he smashed his hand into the ground and upon pulling it out pulled out with it a massive hammer that he then placed the head on the ground while leaning on the handle while his brother and sister argued.
"Do you really want to start something with me Nicor" shouted Sodom as the fire that enveloped his blades continued to get brighter and hotter as he got madder.
"Please your nothing but hot air compared to me" laughed Nicor angering him further.
   "That's it you're as good as…" said Sodom before he was abruptly cut off as a blast of wind smashed into them and Nicor causing them to stumble backwards.
"Would you both BE SILENT" shouted Dram as Nicor immediately backed off and returned to her place.
"Why should I listen to you brother" questioned an enraged Sodom.
"Are you opposing me brother" said Dram darkly.
"So what if I am what are you going to do abo…." Said Sodom before being cut off as his supply of oxygen suddenly disappeared.
As he fell to his knees gasping for breath Dram without warning reached down and grabbing him by the neck hoisted him into the air far enough that his feet dangled a few inches above the ground and spoke saying "Do not forget you place brother for at some point or another each of your powers have submitted to mine especially yours since your flame can't even survive without my help so I'd suggest that you remember your place am I clear brother?" With great difficulty Sodom nodded his head in acknowledgement. "Good" said Dram and with that oxygen came flooding back to Sodom as he panted heavily taking in as much oxygen as possible before rising and returning to his place in between Dram and Gomorrah. "Well now that that's taken care of shall we begin" asked Dram as a massive halberd formed in his hand.
"Why bother asking when we all know I have no other choice but to fight" said David as he took a defensive position.
"Humph Tue enough" replied Dram as he and the other three launched themselves in different direction's planning to attack him from all sides. Quickly analyzing the situation within seconds morphed his great blade into duel broadswords with just enough time left to bring both up to defend his left and right sides as Sodom and Dram smashed into each sides with enough force that sparks formed as there weapons hit. Mustering his strength he pushed them away just as Nicor charged at him from the front giving him just barely enough time to duck away from the strike which grazed the top of his helmet as it passed over.
"Dang it" thought David silently jumping back just as Dram leapt forward jabbing the tip of his halberd at David only just barely missing as it scratched against David's armor leaving a small slash across his chest piece.
"Don't forget about me now" sounded Gomorrah from right behind David to his dismay. With a loud cracking of bone Gomorrah's hammer crashed into David's right side wing as he had brought it around just quick enough to help minimize the damage as the wing itself was crushed as David was sent hurtling head over heals through four nearby buildings before coming to a halt righting himself just in time to watch in anguish as the four buildings collapsed thus destroying even more innocent lives.
"I've got to end this before any more innocent lives are lost in this fight" thought David thinking quickly of what to do before realizing only to late of Drams impending attack as he was sent hurtling through the air once more as he was struck by what was similar to a miniature cyclone. As he was sent tumbling once more he was sent crashing into the lake that surrounded Manhattan Island. As he was finally able to stop tumbling after hitting the water he quickly righted himself as he gazed forward seeing Nicor directly in front of him under the water as her chuckling voice could be heard crystal clear in the water.
"Come to play in my element have you aw how sweet" she mocked as David instantly felt pain ravage his body as he looked at his body his eyes widening seeing the multiple thread like strings of ice that had wrapped around his body as they spun cutting him at random intervals. As he went to try and pull them off he quickly looked back up at Nicor as she chuckled knowing that was not a good sign. "Now have a nice flight" she sneered as he was hit by a pillar of ice that rose from the depths as he was sent hurtling back out of the water crashing down into the city streets.
"My turn" sounded Sodom's voice as David looked up just in time to see a jet of flame come barreling at him as he threw up a barrier of light in front of him just as it hit as it began to slowly push him back from the force of the impact. "Now, now come on don't give up so easily make this fun for me" mocked Sodom increasing the heat and power of the blaze as David suddenly no longer felt the sting of the threads they having melted from the heat instead the pain of searing hot metal barred against his flesh as he looked down seeing his armor a blazing red as the armor itself began to melt.
"Dang it" he shouted silently to himself as he threw himself to the side out of the path of the blazing flames as he quickly cut away his armor tossing it to the side as it completely melted away into molten steel as he then recombined his twin broadswords back into one as he glared at Sodom.
"So perfect what a worthy and enduring warrior which will make sending you burning into eternity all the more pleasing" shouted Sodom laughing as flames erupted from his arms circling around David as they flanked him as he once more threw up a barrier of light as the twin jets crashed with a thunderous roar into the barrier.
"I…will…not…die" he shouted through his labored breathing.
"Then why did you let yourself become trapped" sounded Dram's cold and cruel voice as David's eyes widened as he looked around seeing that he had allowed himself to be tricked into being surrounded by the generals.
"DROWN" shouted Nicor as a massive jet of water drilled into the back of David's barrier.
"CRUSH" shouted Gomorrah as two drill's formed of earth started drilling into the front and underside of his barrier.
"SPEAR" shouted Dram firing a massive blast of wind down on top of David's barrier like a spear.
"I can't die not here not now" muttered David to himself while he continued to hold off there relentless attacks at bay until he noticed that his barrier began to crack as it was continuously weakened by the onslaught of attacks from every side. "I WILL NOT DIE" he shouted as the battlefield was covered by a bright flash of light as everything grew silent followed by a massive explosion as shockwaves were sent out in every direction as David's shield broke as he attacked back sending the four generals flying back as the shockwaves hit them.
"So this is what lord Durisan meant by not underestimating his strength" thought Dram as he burst out from underneath the rubble he had been plowed under.
"I'll kill him I'll personally tear him to shreds" shouted Sodom enraged as he erupted from underneath the rubble next to Dram as Nicor and Gomorrah also crawled out from underneath where they had been plowed beneath the ground.
"The brat definitely has a few tricks left in reserve it seems" grumbled Nicor dusting off her armor as they faced David as he lay beaten and battered on the ground.
"I can't die here not like this I must fufill the duty that God bestowed on me and keep my promise to protect Jenny" he thought as he continued to bleed as his blood ran across the ground turning it deep red.
"Well it looks like he's out of tricks for the moment" grumbled Gomorrah as he once more leaned on his war hammer.
"Indeed so I think I'll just finish him here and now" shouted Sodom as he began to lung at David his blades burning brightly as flames leapt around him only to halt directly in his tracks as three pillars of light descended from heaven blocking David. "What the hell is going on here" shouted Sodom covering his eyes from the blinding light.
"Isn't it obvious brother it seems that we have a few more players that have just joined the battle" chuckled Dram darkly as the light faded as before them stood the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.
"Brothers why are you here" asked David weakly as he rose with difficulty up off the ground.
"We are here because we must be here now to defend you as you have your own mission to fulfill and cannot be allowed to die here" replied Michael.
"Well, well, well now how have you been after all these millennia brothers" asked Dram his voice calm and cold.
"No you are not are siblings not any more not after you turned against our lord" snapped Michael in retort.
"Still stuck in the past as you always were aren't we Michael" mocked Dram. "But you three have put a little flaw in what we were here for you see our job this time for now was only to cause fear, panic, disarray and chaos but not killing the boy there" sighed Dram pointing to David as he lay battered and bleeding behind Michael and the others. "But we were told that anyone else we were allowed to kill if we so choose" spoke Dram his tone dark and sinister as he and the other Generals readied there weapons preparing to strike.
"That won't happen we will not be defeated so easily" replied Michael quickly as he, Gabriel and Raphael readied there weapons defensively for the oncoming fight as they now all stood facing each other as everything grew deathly quiet and still when a small pebble fell from it's perch atop a pile or rubble as it toppled to the ground with a small thud not loud enough for it to be heard but as it hit all of them lurched forward at one another weapons crashing together with a thunderous boom.
"Well now brother it seems that we shall at last see who is stronger our order or yours" roared Dram as he and Michael pushed against each other there weapons now locked in combat.
