Description Back and forth they drag themselves.
Heads whipped up in a storm.
He pulls her, and she pulls him,
Until the floors are torn.

Dad will take the lead.
He'll process them down the hall.
Bouts of voice, writhing tongues,
Break bottles as they fall.

Mom will arch her back.
She'll set a graceful pose.
Dramatics set the scene,
As the lashing rhythm slows.

Locking hands, arms outstretched.
They march, their knees at bend.
And I, the single audience,
To the dance that does not end.
