Carasynthia Dune, better known simply as Cara, is an Alderaanian and a former shock trooper for the Rebel Alliance. She was off-world when her home planet as destroyed by the Death Star, causing her to join the Rebels. After the Battle of Endor, she started hunted down warlords, but her duties soon changed to escorting delegates and stopping riots, something that pushed her to resign. Becoming a mercenary, she spent time on the planet Sorgan, eventually encountering Din Djarin and Grogu. She and Mando aided in defending a village from raiders who were using a modified AT-ST and parted ways afterwards. Mando later returned to recruit her assistance against the Imperial Remnant on Nevarro. At one point, she and Djarin were arm-wrestling when Grogu, believing she was trying to harm Mando, tried to Force Choke her, though he was stopped before she was killed. Despite this, she still aided in protecting the child and after defeating the Remnant, became a marshal for Greef Karga. When Mando returned and helped her raid and destroy the last Imperial base on Nevarro, she was made a ranger of the New Republic. This allowed her to use her credentials to release Migs Mayfeld, as Mando required his assistance. Dune assisted Mando in rescuing Grogu which resulted in her capturing Moff Gideon. Once she turned him in, the New Republic Special Forces recruited her (even though Gideon later escaped, it was likely not held against her). Dune is a seasoned warrior, a crack shot with a blaster (even impressing Fennec Shand), and a skilled brawler, able to handle Djarin in hand-to-hand combat. When she first met him, she proved strong enough to knock him down with one blow to the helmet (which, keep in mind, was Beskar)! She also proved to be able to force a Zabrak opponent to tap out when she fought him, making her a force to be reckoned with.
