Wicket Wystri Warrick is an Ewok scout and warrior of the Bright Tree Tribe who became a close friend to Leia and the Rebels. He was initially cautious when he first encountered Leia, until she offered him food, that is, whereupon she befriended him. When Scout Troopers attacked them, the two hid behind a log, with Wicket rolling under it. One Scout attempted to capture Leia, but Wicket managed to hit his legs and allow his new friend to take the trooper out. They then headed for the village, saving a couple more Ewoks on the way. Due to this, Wicket gifted her a dress for helping to save his fellow Ewoks. The other Rebels, save C-3PO, were captured and prepared to be sacrificed, but Luke scared the Ewoks, including Wicket, by levitating C-3PO's throne with the Force, causing them to release the Rebels. Later, as C-3PO told the tribe of the adventures that the Rebels had been on, Wicket huddled up to Han. When the Rebels were made part of the tribe, the little Ewok embraced Han in happiness. He later assisted in the Battle of Endor, first leading his new allies through a secret path to the shield generator alongside Paploo (who ended up distracting the Scouts guarding the bunker), staying with the droids as the others snuck in. When he realized the Rebels were in danger, he went to get reinforcements, bringing in an army of Ewoks who assisted the Rebels against the Imperial forces. At one point, Wicket attempted to through a bola at the enemy, only for it to backfire and knock him off his feet. Fortunately, he wasn't injured. After the battle, he joined the celebration with the other Ewoks and Rebels, dancing with R2-D2 and even interrupting a moment between Han and Leia. Years later, Wicket had a son named Pommet, with whom he watched as a Resurgent-class Star Destroyer was destroyed over Endor.
