I couldnt stop drawing another weapon design after making my Sunfury Phoenix blade. I always wanted to try drawing my own straight edged saber so here we are. The Firebird is is riddled with hollow points. In fact, the whole bell guard that is one of the main characteristics of 17th to 18th century swords is hollow.... obviously. I tried my best to create the side view to the best I can manage without suddenly turning it 2D. I dont think I made everything right but it still looks good.... Made the smaller top image for a better view of what it looks like in front.

Theres nothing completely fancy or magical about this weapon, except the idea of a fast moving light weapon meant for strategy and tactics, not brute force. The less metal I could get from the bell guard without endangering the weapon hand, the better, I thought. By far, this is the most standard and least elaborate sword that have ever drawn, if not the most hollow among them all.
