First, English is not my first language, so I'm sorry if I make any spelling mistakes.
Second, I know that not many people in the English community know about this cartoon, but I really wanted to talk about it, and not in a positive way, so I'm going to.
For those who (luckily) don't know about the series, it's just a generic animated sitcom about an underdog girl (Lola) fighting a spoiled rich brat (Virginia).
What this episode is about, it's simple, lola tries to pretend that charlie(the boy she likes) is her boyfriend because she can't just ignore that virginia said that she got a boy.
We already started badly, lola does not seem to have common sense to just shut up for once in her life, and to make everything worse, she manipulates her friends and charlie to make a video and prove that she is her boyfriend.
Obviously nothing works out in the end because virginia is the only one with the sense to ask the guy about the video, and you think "Well, so lola learns the lesson about not lying to look superior?"
Well no, since after nothing Charlie, after being understandably angry about the stupid thing that lola did, changes his mind when the guys out of nowhere say that she looks good in the video.
Seriously?!
What bothers me the most about the episode is its hypocrisy, because if the one who had done all this was Virginia (who did nothing wrong in the chapter by the way) things would have been totally different.
I really hate when tv shows put their protagonists without consequences even when they do something bad, that's why I wanted to do this review.
As for the visuals, although it looks ugly, the truth is that I forgive it because it was the first cartoon that the studio did (that I know of).
