Here is October the 17th...

Every ghost has a unique and sometimes confusing 'death cycle' so to speak. Although these wandering spirits will last well on into eternity, some change drastically through their millennium long journeys across the dark world they inhabit.

This ghost starts its life as a dull red monster mulling under the earth, lifting its baleful eyes to the surface only to gobble up passersby...Once its long half slumber comes to an end, it emerges from the ground and sloughs its skin, revealing a bone white spirit inside, which promptly takes to the cold night sky. Once metamorphosed, the spirit is quite harmless, but the cast skin, angry at being forgotten, sometimes takes a life of its own. Should you encounter one, always be sure to carry a small can of starch, as dryers are not very portable.
