There is a fine line between our world and that of the spirits; often times, we cannot detect it simply because we will not drop our guard and seek it...but others cross the boundary with no such reservation...Such as the fauna that lives in our world.

Because of this particular habit of the animal world, this ghost seeks to blend in with the beasts and the birds in order to get closer to its primary target....mainly, us. However, it tends to be in such a haste, that often times, it doesn't succeed in fooling anyone, much less these unfortunate birds. Should you have the pleasure of seeing this impostor on some chilly night, the easiest way of surviving is to point at it with conviction and say 'I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE'. It will generally freeze with embarrassment, and try to find less perceptive prey....Good luck with that, ghost.
