Description
When I was 14 or 15 (2002 or 2003, summer), I had this 'stick' for a Link cosplay I still have to this day. It's about 5'3 tall, a little curve for me to rest my hand, and about one inch in diameter. It's taller than me by three inches!
Anyway, I was hanging out with a group of people, a girl my age, her brother, two of my brother's friends, my brother, and this new kid named Jacob. I think he was 12 at the time, my brother's age.
He's colourblind, but he always wore green, said green was his favourite colour, but couldn't tell green from yellow. So we called him Greenbean.
He hit me on the back, HARD. Clearly, I was angry. But being a girl, I exacted my revenge in a different way. Rather than directly just hitting him back, I waited. And no one really seemed to notice he hit me, or they assumed it was a friendly pat on the back.
Moving on, not long after, the girl my age suggested we play blind tag. No one was allowed on the sand, we had to be on the playground equipment to make it easier on whoever was it. Jacob was not first it, and I had my stick with me. I came up with a plan on the spot!
When Jacob was it, I kept quiet. Everyone else was hiding quietly, too. No one saw it coming, especially not Jacob.
I put my stick inbetween the red bars as shown, so it was horizontal across the black walking path.
He seemed to know the area well enough, or was brave, so he walked at normal pace and didn't hang on to bars like I did when I was it.
When he got to my stick, he flipped over. He ran into it, and the force of his speed caused him to literally flip over on to the ground.
I had gotten my revenge, and I was proud of myself. This is something I remember VIVIDLY!

Jacob, if you're out there, and you run across this comic/story, and remember it just as vividly as I do, I'm sorry for being a snot at that age! I know better now!
