Yes I am stubborn

Anyway! This is Prince Copper, a SU character of mine! He's of a fan species for the series called Ores! What is an Ore you ask? Well, glad you asked! Well, no one asked, but I'm going to explain anyway because if I don't I'm going to be mad at myself for leaving ya'll in the dark about it.

Ores are a very close relative to Gems, in fact, so close that other races get them mixed up at times. Unlike Gems however, they seem to be almost exact opposites, in a parallel way. Ores are all male, are pacifists, and their bodies are physical instead of light. Only one colony of these creatures exist however, deep in the earth's depths. Their kind was picked off one by one by other species, as they were mistaken for their admittedly more violent relatives, the Gems. Behavior wise however, they are rather peaceful, only fighting if they have to. Back when there were more of them, they were known to travel from planet to planet, making colonies underground by befriending the locals and offering fair trades for a home.

Their culture is actually rather close to our own, in terms of freedom. Each Ore gets to choose who they want to be, instead of having a strict do or don't attitude. Their rulers are known as Kings, while Princes are leaders in training, the King raising them and preparing them for leadership. They also seem to know a bit about human culture too, due to leaving the underground and scavenging for parts on the surface. In fact, they are rather inventive, well known for creating gadgets and gizmos out of whatever they can find.

Unlike Gems, these creatures are known for leaving life in their wake, instead of destruction. Their presence seems to attract animals from all over, as well as plants. In fact, most areas filled with wildlife are most likely directly atop a part of their colony. Even as they are born they give life instead of destroy it. It's unknown exactly how or why, but perhaps it is simply because they are the opposite, a part of a balance.

Currently, they are ruled by a Diamond, Black Diamond, who they call their Queen. She was found and raised by them, so she knows nothing of how Gems act.
