I can imagine a dull red glow sparking in those dark holes when he's 'woken' from his rusty sleep. Nice macabe feel to him, which is rather appropriate. Did you know his severed mortal bodyparts (and those of the tin soldier, Guy Fyter) were then sewn into a new man called Chopfyt? The girl who seduced both Nick Chopper here (and Captain Fyter) then carried on a relationship with that love-zombie. It's way beyond creepy (and one of the reasons I love the books).
