Description
The Knights of the High Mane are a small, but growing group of knights who serve all of Equestria as a special elite sect of ponies from all walks of life, who give their all to protect this land and all who reside in it from any forces of evil.

Thunderhoof comes from a line of native ponies who lived in the wilds outside of Ponyville, living in harmony with nature. Thunderhoof lives up to his name by being well-versed in magic that deals with lightning, and his two-toned hair is a small side-effect from using it a lot. Despite not being of the forest, he embodies the "silent as the forest" notion, being somewhat quiet unless he feels the need to speak up about something. Honorable and humble to a fault, he puts the needs of everyone else before himself, and is a lover of nature and the animals, which has garnered the friendship of Fluttershy.
