Description Loki and Vader recruit the Joker

As they entered the asylum, Loki and Vader made their way to the font desk, where a man was sitting, staring at them as they entered. "Good afternoon." Loki said to the man, "My name is Dr. Thomas Hiddles and this is Dr. James Earl. We have been sent here from the National Institute for Criminal Rehabilitation to bring in one of your most dangerous inmates and see if we can place him back on the right path. I'd we succeed, we will help you with your inmates as we have done to many other prisons and asylums across the country." The man considered this and then told him,"There is one person that we got from the Gotham Police Station just now. They said they caught him hanging on a building after he was defeated by the Batman. Still can't believe what he did to Dent. I can have one of the guards send you to him if you want." Loki and Vader nodded their consent and the man had a guard be sent to take them to Cell #25. The guard led them down while the man turned on a computer on his desk and went on Google, where he typed National Institute for Criminal Rehabilitation int the search engine. The guard took the two down a long hall that featured cell doors to their left and right, with windows in the upper center so that Loki and Vader could peek in and see who they placed into these cells. They saw a tall skinny man with black hair and brown eyes that hid behind glasses in a straight jacket, with a burlap sack placed in his lap, a chubby short man with a ponited nose as he lay on his cell bed, staring at a black umbrella perched in the corner adjacent to him, a thin man with auburn hair sitting in his bed as he read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland while sipping tea, a tall man with short black hair reading McGibbly's book of riddles, smiling and laughing quietly as he did, and a slender woman with long red hair as she sat in her cell bed, stroking a potted flower that she perched in her lap. They continued down this hallway, seeing more inmates, such as a looney looking man who stares at his light like a moth and trailed in circles around it and a man who was making figures out of clay, when they got to Cell #25, which had a wicked looking inmate sitting and staring at the door when they entered. This inmate had his face painted with white makeup with black eye liner surrounding his eyes and a wide red smile on his mouth. "Joker," the guard said to the man, "These men are from the National Institute for Criminal Rehabilitation, and they are here to help you get back on the right track." The man named the Joker smiled under his makeup smile, and then Loki and Vader introduced themselves to him. The guard left to get the Joker's things and Loki and Vader were left to talk to their "client." "So," The Joker said, "You're here to help me 'get my life on track,' aren't you?" Loki looked at the Joker's mocking smile, noticing it was between two long scars on his cheeks. "If....you are willing to let us." he replied. Vader then added, "We actually have a job of which we hope we can rely on your kind of skills to perform." "Ah, I see." The Joker observed, "And what and why would the National Institute for Criminal Rehabilitation have a job for me? Usually they just visit the criminals in the cell and try to help them psychologically. Certainly you 'members' of this institute would know this." Loki and Vader looked at each other, when Loki said, "Well..." when the Joker stopped him. "I thought there was something amiss when I heard where you were from." The Joker told them. Vader said, "Is there something you know that we don't?" The Joker told him, "Well, I know that there is no National Institute for Criminal Rehabilitation to begin with." Loki squinted his eyes while grinning at the Joker, "You're a smart man, Joker. I think Vader that he is the kind of person we could use." The Joker grinned at them and lied his head back against the wall, asking them, "So, what are you really here for?" Loki told the Joker, "Well, my friend and I are locating a group of stones called Infinity Stones, which we plan to use to rule the Universe we came from." "You came from?" The Joker asked, his eyes lightening up. "Yes." Vader continued, "We are telling you this because we are forming a team to help us obtain these stones and defeat those in our way, and we see you as a viable candidate for it." "Ah, so I have to do tryouts for this team. Very well, what specifically do you want me to get?" "You know about the Temporum, right?" Loki asked the Joker. "Of course." The Joker said, "Who in Gotham City doesn't?" "Well, in order to prove yourself to us, you must get it, and bring it to us, and then you'll be able to join our group, and soon you'll have this reality and all the other forms of reality at your fingertips." The Joker grinned widely, "And what makes you think I want any reality?" "Well, what do you want?" Loki asked the Joker. The Joker showed his teeth as he said, "Anarchy and chaos." Loki's eyebrows were raised and he said, "Very well, you help us, and you'll be able to go back to this reality and spread as much chaos and anarchy as the Universe will allow you to, which, with the Infinity Stones, should be limitless." The Joker considered this as the guard returned with the Joker's things and the man from the front desk with him. "So, you said that you men are from the National Institute of Criminal Rehabilitation, right?" Loki and Vader nodded, "And we've been talking with our client, reaching new grounds. Why?" "How about the fact that there is no National Institute for Criminal Rehabilitation." The guard told them, "I looked for it after the guard took you to the Joker's cell. There were no search results."  Loki was about to explain when Vader stood up and waved his hand in front of the man's face, saying, "Sorry, I was wrong, there actually were search results. I just overlooked them." with the man saying the very same thing afterward. "Now, I shall go back to my desk and not bother you guys anymore." Vader said, waving his hand and the man repeating what Vader said, leaving afterwards. Vader then turned to Loki and the Joker and explained to them, "My power, called the Force, gives me a strong influence on the weak minded." The Joker and Loki gave interested looks at Vader as Loki said, "I would like to see more of this 'Force' power of yours, Vader." Loki looked at the guard and told him to give him the Joker's clothes, the guard doing so and leaving afterwards. Loki then handed the Joker his clothes and after the Joke changed into them, dressing himself into a blue button up shirt with a green vest and a purple suit with matching pants and gloves, the suit holding a wide array of knives in their pockets, Loki and Vader led the Joker out of Arkham Asylum, and they made their way to the Crystal Palace.

There, the Joker told his two liberators to give him five or ten minutes when he entered into the Palace. There, the Joker ran into a security guard, stabbed him in the back and took his gun, when he blasted it into the ceiling, getting everyone's attention. "Good afternoon, everyone." The Joker said to everyone as he made his way forward through the metal detector, setting it off and shooting it as he went through, "I am your entertainment for today." He threw the gun to the floor and made his way to the case that held the Temporum, with a group of security guards making their way to him, guns ready. The Joker then turned to them and then made his way forward, taking one of these guards and using his head to smash the glass, allowing him to take the Temporum. As he took it, the guards cocked their guns and the head of security asked him, "Do you really expect to get away with that?" "No." The Joker said, making his way to a window, with the man he used to break the case, and used him to smash it open, throwing the Temporum out of the window, where Vader caught it with the force and brought it to him and Loki. "So, you wanted to see more of the Force, did you Loki?" Vader asked, and then looked at the Joker, who had thrown a knife at the head of security, landing in the middle of his neck as the men started shooting at him, the Joker using the man he used to break open the case and the window as a shield. Vader then made his way to where the Joker was, where one of the guards said, "Ah, an accomplice." Vader then lifted his arms and the guards all were lifted up in the air, Vader then pushed his hand forward and the men were thrown into the walls. Loki then made his way forward and saw a man trying to call the police, and used the Infinity Gauntlet to blast at the phone, destroying it. The trio then made their way outside with everyone trembling with fear at their presence.

Loki then used the Pragmatik to return the three back to Loki and Vader's reality, where the Joker looked around amazed, not believing his eyes. "If you think that's impressive," Loki told the Joker, "Watch this." Him and Vader were then engulfed in a green glow and their disguises were shed, revealing their true appearances to their new companion. "I am Loki of Asgard," Loki explained, "And this is Darth Vader. I have been searching for the Infinity Stones, with Vader recently helping me with it, and you helping me as well. Recently I have decided to form up a team of extraordinary people to help me find the stones and defeat a team of people who I was defeated by before, in order to take the Universe. Vader here has agreed to give me an army to assist my conquest, with you as one of my generals now. The members of my team shall be generals of my army and will have any wish they want granted." "I see." The Joker said, "So, what shall this team be called?" "I don't know."  Loki answered. "Perhaps, if we are conquering worlds, we can be called the Conquerors, or better yet, the Invaders, because we would be invading worlds to take them." The Joker suggested. Loki's eyes brightened up, "I like that. Very well, we shall be known by that name as we go from world to world." He then looked at the Temporum in his left hand and placed it in the Infinity Gauntlet under the ring finger in his right hand, which then shone a great green glow before the three, followed by a portal that showcased time and history before them. Loki then told the Temporum to show them the next Infinity Stone. The Temporum then created another portal and showed them a large outpost that seemed to be built in the head of a celestial, of which Loki could tell from the interior. The Temporum then found a building of which it ventured inside, observing a wide array of artifacts and beings kept in large cases. Loki looked into the portal and saw the artifact they needed: the Aether, kept in a long glass case in the far back of the large room, where there seemed to be five other places in the case beside it. "It looks like someone is attempting to get the stones as we are." Vader observed. The Joker agreed. "So, who are we going to get to take that?" He asked. Loki closed the portal and thought for a while, then said, "Perhaps there is someone." "Who is that person?" Vader asked. "And where will we find him?" "Not where," Loki told them, "When." He then reactivated the Temporum and told it to take him and his companions to Time coordinates 1320. 0001.0001.2010, inside the house of Joshua Naismith, when the Temporum flashed a gleam of light and in no time they found themselves where and when they needed to be.
