While Cyborg had altered the mechanics of his own body over the years, aesthetically, he stayed about the same.

When Cyborg was measured by a reformed Mad Mod, however, it was suggested that his robotic side be smoothed out a bit to make it easier to wear clothes.

With some ideas from Mod and a great deal of help from Fix-It, Cyborg smoothed out his own design.
