Anyone who is a Doctor Who fan can critique my shots however they like. Your points are all valid. I think I shot this one right at the end of the session, near early afternon and the sun wasn't helping us out much.

I love how the model's stance defines the composition, and how you took advantage of the natural light and the deep contrast of light and dark. But how you cropped out her arms makes the flow of the photo seem awkward to me, and color saturation in the highlights overwhelms the shadows. Bear in mind that this critique is from a painter and not a photographer, and only represent my lowly opinion.
