Description
A comic starring Futura and Jessica from the Filmation cartoon Ghostbusters (no relation to the 1984 movie or the animated spin-off The Real Ghostbusters; it’s an animated sequel to the 1975 live-action TV show), which shows them going through the same transformation sequence that Jake and Eddie went through in order to change from their regular clothes into their Ghostbuster outfits. Futura has used the Skelevator to change into her uniform before but this is the first time Jessica has gone off on a mission and thus the first time she has used the Skelevator so she has no idea what the process is like.Jessica is freaked out about losing her clothes like that and becomes embarrassed, which causes her to forget to jump off the web. Failing to jump triggers the foot coming out and kicked her so hard that it knocks her out of her socks and shoes.

Hey! You didn’t have to do that to Jessica you stupid machine. I could care less about Eddie OR Jake getting kicked around all the time, but you should leave the only decent protagonist (besides Futura) alone!
Though admittedly I do like the explanation for why the Skelevator is kicking her. I sometimes wondered why this thing mistreated Eddie even if I didn’t care that it was smacking him around.

Aw don’t be embarrassed Jessica. You’re beautiful! Again, this is a great recreation of the cartoon.
Now for my thoughts on why the machine is treats Jessica AND Eddie so poorly. They annoy the spirit/intelligence/whatever of the Skelevator by not jumping off the web. It feels disrespected by the idea that he doesn’t trust it. Also, it has a job to do and wants to do keep everything on schedule. When people don't cooperate it shoves them to keep the process going and treats them roughly so that they will know not to do it again. So that’s why it kicked Jessica so hard that it literally knocked her socks and shoes off. This also explains why Eddie’s barefoot as he goes flying into the dressing machine. Their shoes and socks are picked up by the mechanical hands and they take them to the same place the rest of their clothes are.
