VOYAGE INTO THE UNKNOWN-SCULPTURESCommunity Volunteer- Mrs-Durden  has started a new project called “Voyage Into the Unknown”.
The concept:
The idea is to browse through a category or sub-category that you don't necessarily visit frequently, or that you browse the least, and collect some of the art you find stands out! The point of this is to challenge ourselves and discover new art in the process!

Hi, Iwill look for the pictures of WIP but I usually don't keep them and don't expose them because there are poor in quality ,captured without a professional camera. But I'll answer you're question
,the support is made from hard steel wire, two pieces. One piece is 3/4 inside the character. The other piece is caught by the wood support. When I'll bake it will be a little more difficult but i hope I'll manage the situation.By the way... I've learned on the internet about the process of baking, etc but I didn't find a clear explaining of what kind of device to use.I understand that is not ok to use microwave. What device do you use to bake the Sculpey?

Regards.

Fantastic work! With the support that you used in the back, is it designed to come off, or stay there? I used a similar thing with pipes for one of my sculptures, where it can be unscrewed from the support and then the piece sticking out covered over after. But it's a bit constricting with how many poses work with any other sculptured and you seem to have done it a bit differently and more simply. Do you have any in-progress pictures of this piece? I'd love to see your process

Wow, that's really good.
What medium did you use to sculpt this?
It's beautiful!
