Story: Beanstalked
After an unknown force awakens in Olim, happy endings have become more and more rare each passing day. Instead of waiting around for a knight in shining armor, the fairytales have decided take matters into their own hands.

I was going through some mild art block and couldn't figure out what I wanted to draw so I sketched a little baby Jack which grew to a random timeline. Character timelines are interesting but kind of hard to design since I didn't want to make Jack look the exact same through the ages.

Baby: Jack was born March 5th at the dead of night. During the first 3 months of Jack's life, he used to have green eyes and throw the most violent tantrums due to the slayer blood inside him from his father. Thankfully, when he became 4 months old, his eyes turned golden like his mother's and the tantrums completely stopped. Appearance-wise, the hair flicks on Jack's head weren't fully developed so he sort of had little hair petal things where they now are.

5 Years Old: Jack's father left the picture completely. Because he was so young, a one sentence story from his mother stopped his questioning about why immediately. It's around this age that Jack's mother noticed how difficult it was for him to make friends. All the other kids thought he was too weird. Poor boy got lonely (which is why he's pictured crying) so Milky entered the picture. The two got along like the best of pals.

13 Years Old: Jack began to get more curious about the world around him and spent a majority of his time exploring. The farthest his mother allowed him was the market but the farthest he's actually gotten was the forest. This led to him gaining a fascination with climbing trees. Scolding and lectures never worked to steer Jack away from wandering so his mother settled on giving him a sketchbook. The best place to explore is your own imagination.

18 Years Old: Five years later, the situation of the farm got worse to the point the only animal left was Milky. Jack's mother tried to get him to sell the cow at the market but he continuously avoided responsibilities through procrastination and playing dumb. His mother finally snapped, leading to Jack selling Milky to the moon and causing the intro to Beanstalked.
