I care deeply about the fact Nana shares her cloak with Jack sometimes

Nana's eyes are glowing because her Märchen is activated to change the size of her cloak to accommodate Jack.

Her Märchen is her cloak which doubles as a shield (since giving her an actual weapon would be over kill since she is so op without even needing to use her Märchen abilities)

And in Beanstalked, when a character that is Bookmarked uses their powers, their eyes glow (specifically, there is a dot of light in the middle of their pupil that glows brighter the more power they use)
