Description That`s only a attemp of showing how does the macro rings works. It`s probably wrong with the angles etc. but it shows what i want.

Conclusions:
a) macro rings without a possibility to transmit electric signal from a body to lens should be used with lenses with possibility to set aperture manualy on the lens (aperture ring on lens), otherwise F is set to 0 (camera says so - you can`t change it in camera body) so in my case (lenses withous aperture ring) i should use macro rings only for flat objects like e.g paper money, because the magnification is big and the depht of field is extra small, but as you can see i`ve tried with bugs as well. Remember that you`ll have to use manual focus, cause there`s no electric signal. I`d recommend using an tripod because using that rings needs you to use longer exposure times. Well you can try it holding camera in your hand but there`s got to be a lot of light.

b) the more macro rings used, the more magnification you`ll get:
- distance from camera to an object had to be smaller, otherwise you won`t get focus
- depht of field is smaller too

c) using short lenses:
- very high magnifications
- the distance is extra short e.g. for 18mm it`s about 1cm or less
- the depht of field is small/short

d) using long lenses:
- smaller magnifications than for short lenses
- distance is bigger/longer than with short lenses
- wider/bigger depht of field but not so big after all
