At one point in sorting out which dialects/regions had which sounds, I noticed several overlaps...some of which used the same or a similar glyph, and some which did not.

So this is my try to work out why. (yes, there *is* a Northern language, though thus far only one name is known from there)

Disclaimer: all of this is my attempt to extrapolate a language (at least a Naming Language) from a friend's online game's set of character and place names. I have their authorization to do this.
