Fleetfoot/Zoom (as the destructive shockwave nears them): (scoffs) Good job destroying Equestria, Sentry: I'm sure hope your mother's got a good view of it...
Flash Sentry/The Flash: (grunts) You can't do this, Fleetfoot: you'll die too
Fleetfoot: (shrugs) As you say in this era, "Totally worth it" (dodges a weak punch from Flash Sentry; stands just a few feet from her rival; shakes one of her hooves) Oh no, you don't (energy crackles around her) I can still siphon off your connection to the Speed Force: I'm afraid you can't escape this timeline because the sad fact is that there isn't enough of the Speed Force to go around... (grunts as a gunshot resonates through the crisp air surrounding them; grabs her arm just before she finds herself stabbed through the heart)
Johnny Appleseed/Batmane: (scoffs as Fleetfoot starts to go limp in his arms) There is now; oh, and a tip from a former Apple farmer: even the seeds of discord won't be planted effectively if all you're doing is standing around doing nothing...
Flash Sentry (runs up to him even as Fleetfoot falls over, dead): (shocked) You killed her...
Johnny Appleseed: (grunts as he falls onto his knees) Not necessarily (coughs even as Flash holds him steady) Not if you go back and change the past... (looks out at the horizon even as the screams of agony draw ever closer; looks him straight in the eyes) The only way to save the world is to keep THIS one from ever happening (holds out an envelope) Take this...and know that I'm sorry about what happened to your mom... (Flash takes it, only for him to be grabbed by the shoulders by Batmane himself) Run (Flash doesn't have to be told twice as he sprints into the horizon, not noticing that even as the shockwave begins to overtake him, Johnny Appleseed has a genuine smile on his face for what has to be the first time in years) My only regret is that I'll never see you grow to be better Apples AND Bats then I ever was...

I just thought of something:

Flash Sentry: What happened to you, Big Mac? You were the Con Mane (note: name inspired by "MMMystery on the Friendship Express) of super ponies: what turned you into the Unicorn Bomber (note: yeah, I know: that was a TERRIBLE pun)? (gets punched in the face)
Batmane: Who are you? I said (punch) who... (punch) ...in Equestria... (punch) ..are you?
Flash: Wait, Big Mac; you have to remember me: it's Flash, Flash Sentry; Big Mac!
Batmane: (grabs him) Big McIntosh?
Flash: (blinks) Big Mac?
Batmane: (brings Mr. Sentry to his face) "Big Mac" is dead: I watched him die
Flash: (wide-eyed) Sweet Celestia: HE'S the one who died that night; Big Mac and his siblings died, and YOU lived (almost whispers) You're their father: you're Johnny Appleseed (note: not the most creative name, I know...)

Johnny Appleseed/Batmane: (quirks an eyebrow) You're suggesting that this "Fleetfoot" changed something in the past...
Flash: That changed EVERYTHING; it's crazy: my mother's alive, you're Batmane, and my girlfriend's declared World War on Sea Swirl... (gestures to the uniform that's not his own) ...but why would Zoom give me THIS?
Johnny: (muses a bit) She hates you...so much so that she'll destroy the world just to spite you, but her psychosis requires you know that she's involved in all this...
Flash: (shocked) Could anyone, even Fleetfoot, be that deranged?
Johnny: (sighs; looks at a board adorned with several blood-stained playing cards,  focusing on the Joker in the center of the mass, his mind briefly remembering a certain mare laughing, a bloodied smile painted on her face) You'd be AMAZED the monsters this world can create...
Flash: (sternly) We have to stop this, Mr. Appleseed: find what Fleetfoot changed and reverse the damage before Twilight's war destroys everything...
Johnny: (stoically) Not saying I believe you, but are my kids...is Big McIntosh...?
Flash: (nods) All your kids make it, Johnny: Big Mac is alive; he's...Batmane
Johnny: (sternly) IF I were to help you, what exactly would we need?

Flash: There's one thing I still don't get: I remember everything, but not just what happened after I woke up; I remember every birthday cake my mom ever baked, my room, EVERYTHING (looks at Big Mac and company) Perhaps some kind of temporal aftereffect?
Applebloom: (shrugs) Or perhaps it was a gift
Flash: (hands them an envelope) Yes: a gift
Big Mac: (blinks at the inscription on the envelope) This is our pappy's writing... (opens it; doesn't take long for the trio of Apples to tear up a bit)
Applejack: You make a great messenger: thank you
