be prepared im not a good writer don't expect nothin great here im just bored and wanted to write a blurb

"I have important news for Father, let me through!" spat the young Queen, her claws scratching against the icy floor. She'd come all the way from the palace on her own, hiding in the shadows from the guards and flying for the first time in her life, she refused to be stopped here. By the Monster she'd been terrified of her entire life. She wouldn't back down anymore.

The creature hissed and slithered around her, pacing like a polar bear around a helpless penguin. He wore a thick metal glove over his right hand- the only way to prevent everything from melting under his claws- and it thunk thunk thunked against the floor as he spoke, punctuating each word.
"Lord Demagogue is busy! You shouldn't be here, your place is in the palace!Go home!" His words were cold and vial, something that used to strike fear into Victory's heart, but now they only sparker her anger more.

She hissed and stepped forward, now face to face with Frostfire, a move so bold that for a moment, a stroke of fear slipped into his face.
"I will not back down."

For a long, chilling moment, all was quiet. Frostfire had never been faced with confrontation, especially from someone as small and insignificant as his sister. He didnt know how to respond and in a moment of panicked anger, he ripped the metal glove away and grabbed hold of Victory's wrist with his icy left hand snarling "You're nothing but a scared little rat, NOTHING! Leave!"

But she looked him dead in the eyes, something she'd never done before. The scales along her wrist were beginning to crack from the freezing temperature, but she remained calm and quiet in her tone
"Theres nothing left of you to fear"

anyways! i actually drew this a few weeks ago and wasn't gonna post it here but yeah fuck it here it is

m not gonna lie, i started this and once i got the flat colors down i was kinda.done.
the effects/shading aren't great but eh.it be like that. my art motivation has been really terrible lately

some info about whats going on!

Queen Victory (formerly named Reindeer) inherited the throne after her mother was "mysteriously murdered". Demagogue made a massive public scene over the tragic death, holding dozens of mourning ceremonies in her honor and several speeches convincing the kingdom icewings to accept Queen Victory because she carried the late Queen's legacy. However, a detail that many swept over was the disappearance of Prince Caribou, Reindeer's brother. Reindeer missed him terribly, and despite being up to her neck in a new name and new responsibilities, she still mourned him and her mother greatly. After a few years of living without them and doing her best to unite all the icewings with the help of her father, a sudden visitor completely shattered her sheltered reality. Prince Caribou returned and spoke to her in the night, revealing that he left because he witnessed their mothers murder and the killer was none other than Frostfire. Blinded by anger and refusing to be afraid of him anymore, she rushes to the Island IceWing settlement to tell Demagogue what she's found out, hoping he will enact his rage. But unbeknownst to her, Frostfire did not act without orders.
