Mind...BLOWN!! Freaking blown. I'm a goofy, silly girl right now because I still have three books to read in this series. I'm over the moon with delight.

Kathleen and Blane are in the middle of their relationship, but Kathleen is just waiting for the moment that she goes the way of all of his other flavors of the month. In her mind, she expects nothing more than what they have now. In her heart, she's scared for the way she feels for him.

And in steps Kade.

The chemistry between Kade and Kathleen knocks Blane out of the way. I'm sorry to the Blane lovers, but it freaking DOES! And the reader will get so much Kade in this installment...let me tell you Kade lovers, you will adore this book. There is a good man beneath that gamma ass hole behavior, and he breaks my heart and lights my panties on FIRE!!!!!!!!

Blane and Kathleen's difference in class is ever so apparent here. And this isn't the cheesy, over-used "I'm not good enough for him" trope. Kathleen has legitimate fears about their disparities. Blane is a very public figure, and Kathleen is a bartender with a lack of social etiquette, money, and refinement.

I've once again focused on the romance. But the action and storytelling once again stand on their own. There are some really intense, disturbing scenes, some twists and turn and unexpected surprises. A couple of really icky nasties go down, but nothing that needs a disclaimer Just a really fabulous story with one of the best love triangles I've ever read. I have no freaking clue who's gonna get the girl, although I'm still team Kade right now.

I heart Kade the broken bad boy. That is all.
