Description
Well, This has been a long time coming. I've been wanting to post these for a quite a while now but I have held back mainly because they were not complete yet. However I think it was finally time to introduce you to what I have been keeping from you guys recently. See a couple of months ago I made a story series called Cuteness Racers; Go Full Speed and it was sort of my take on Bakusou Kyoudai Lets and Go (A very old Japanese Anime featuring Mini 4WD). Since then I have taken an interest in a game called Mini Legend and after playing it for quite sometime now I managed to make some very wild and totally insane combinations and this Car in particular has a really interesting evolutionary line so lets start with the basic form;LOOKS AND HISTORY:
Storm Saber was the first of the 5th Generation Racers developed by Professor Hugh Hayate (Head Researcher and Father to Gou and Fuu Hayate). Based on the Storm Breaker (The Car you start with in Mini legend) It was a basic Racer with some good quality parts to start with. Hugh entrusted the Saber to his youngest son Gou Hayate and he instantly tuned it to become a Fast Runner with the name Storm Saber (Really fitting theme there)
SPECS:
While it is a good car the Storm Saber does have one weakness; Its Cornering. Much like the Magnum Saber, It Does have a bit of trouble handling the corners and even with the New Rollers its performance was nothing compared to the Flame magnum. But what it does have over the Flame Magnum is its speed. Having lost a bit of weight on the overall body combined with a fast motor, Lightweight Wheels and High Speed Gears the Storm Saber could outrun any opponent
PARTS USED:
STORM SABER BODY - Made from Polycarbonate, Both the Storm Saber and the Flame Magnum can run their greatest even under extreme pressure. The Storm Saber's Body was also tuned to be extra lightweight for maximum Speed on the Straightaways
FRONT TRANSMISSION CHASSIS - The Backbone of every Mini 4WD is its Chassis. It not only holds all the components of the Car but it can also bring some pretty unique benefits when fitted with the Right components. Storm Saber's Chassis is Front based meaning the Motor will be placed in the front which is what most cars these days usually have though this will eventually be switched out with a Rear Based Chassis later on
FUZION MOTOR - The Heart of the Mini 4WD. Motors give the car its speed and depending on the mods and type of motor, They can propel the car to victory in your own way. Gou wanted his car to go full speed so he chose this Motor meant for high speed applications
TYPE RACE GEAR - While the Motor is the heart the Gears are the Ateries. They spin the wheels on the Car with the provided juice from the Motor and these can range from torque based to balanced and in Gou's Case High Speed based. He went for the full Racing type Gear set to really bring out all that speed from the Motor
HOT ROD TIRES - The Tires on a Mini 4WD Are mostly made of Rubber and are good for gripping onto smooth track. Different Tires have different grip points and while Gou's Hot Rod Tires are just the basic tires with flames on them they do the job quite well at keeping the car planted while accelerating
DEEPSER BUMPER SET - The Bumpers (Or Stays as they call them) on a Mini 4WD affect where the Rollers will go and how much downforce they would bring to prevent the car from overshooting a jump and get off course. Having thrown caution to the wind Gou went with the Killer Deepser Bumper Set with its signature Blue texture it surely matches the car. Lets hope that Storm Saber doesn't fly off first
MARINE ROLLERS - The Rollers provide extra Cornering through those tight turns and while Gou had some good quality Rollers they are mostly used to increase the speed of the Storm Saber. Though they do help with Cornering these can only provide so much Anti Resistance that the Car will start to aggressively turn around the corners but they do a good job none the less
Hope you like it. More Racers Coming Soon
