last week's picture. kinda ironical that it's very late. oh well.
fifty two weeks project
my week. my life.
I noticed that even if I have been working on school stuff all day, it still feels like I havenβt managed to do anything by the time I go to bed.

You know, I normally hate - and, I mean I can't stand - those "knee-high stripey socks". They make me furious, for reasons my science cannot begin to comprehend. But, in this picture they add so much compositionally to the piece that I not only forgive their presence, I actually grant that it wouldn't be nearly as good without them. The horizontal stripes not only capture and highlight the shape of the legs very well, they also balance out the vertical theme of the picture. And, as if that weren't enough, they even compliment the lines of the papers and books in the stack. An excellent choice, there. Did you have all that in mind when you used them, or was it serendipity?

although I don't understand why you hate them so much, I'm happy I think they contribute to the picture.
