Pennywise the dancing clown!I love IT and not just because it's an awesome horror movie but because of the subtext. Pennywise is a childhood trauma allegory. Children take their trauma and bury it losing their innocence as teens and young adults. At some point as adults you have to confront the monsters of your past. It's just so much deeper than just another monster movie and I love IT for that.
