Grand Canyon Southern rim, October 19th, 2022.

I just guessing here, but I imagine these are two of the most photographed trees at the Grand Canyon. This is right by the trailhead of the Bright Angel Trail. About 10 yards to the south and below the larger tree, a tunnel has been cut through the stone for that trail.

I wondered if they have perhaps acquired nicknames. Perhaps it's best that they don't, least they become targets like the Sycamore Gap Tree.
