At the corner of Will Rogers Blvd and J.M Davis Blvd (the older alignment of Route 66) in Claremore Oklahoma, October 2017.

The building was apparently built in 1940. I'm not sure if it housed offices of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) or was built by them or perhaps both.

Maps will show that Route 66 followed Lynn Riggs Blvd through the city of Claremore, but (as I suspected) there was an older alignment one block to the west. It was there I saw this small, and apparently vacant, stone building. It is extremely close to the road so I'm guessing this is the result of the road being widen.
