• Personality:
Faisal is shy and a little quiet, but he loves to make people forget about their troubles and be worry-free. Now that he is older he speaks much more often, but is still afraid of conflict and will keep his opinions to himself. Even though he always has to deal with the sometimes rudeness of the kitsune or fox spirit that’s trapped inside his body, he is usually very happy and is always wanting to make new friends. He is still cautious around new people but is less likely to think they'll kidnap him. Faisal loves children and wants to make them smile, but he is not great with being hugged or touched so he watches them from afar. The fox, on the other hand, dislikes children, but knows how to handle and be around them. He’s always wanting to help others, and he also loves reading and learning new things about himself or the fox. He is friendly but can sometimes become frustrated if he can’t find the right words to express himself, if this happens the fox spirit will quickly take over and (sometimes rudely) explain what he was trying to say. He does not like staying in one place for too long, it reminds him off his time on a dusty store shelf. So he will often move from place to place to feel freer and is only staying still when he's doing something like reading. He does not like crowded places and gets anxious around bright lights, so he does his show at night when fewer people are around and it's darker. One of the weirder things he likes is to watch wet paint and fresco dry, no one really knows why but he'll sit there for hours and will occasionally laugh to himself. When Faisal was younger he wore a full mask to hide the scar on his face because he thought it would scare people, but now that he's older and more comfortable with how he looks he wears a half mask. He will sometimes take his mask off but this is very rare and only when no one is around, but you can see some of the scar on his neck left ear if you look closely. Though Faisal seems sweet and naïve he is still a trickster and loves to play small pranks on people, on numerous occasions he will work together with the fox to transform into others to play jokes on them. He never does it to hurt people just to have a bit of fun, but he has been know to swindled some folks out of there fillies.

• Story:     Faisal was made by an old toymaker who put so much love and work into him that it gave him the magic to come to life. Faisal was raised by the toymaker and they lived together for many happy years, until the day the toy maker had passed away from old age. Once the toy maker was gone Faisal’s will to continue living without his master faded, and he lost his magic abilities becoming a regular doll and eventually was left on a high shelf in an old antique store. He had given up hope until a young kitsune had run into the store desperate for a hiding place, he noticed Faisal and quickly jumped into the doll, successfully hiding from his captures. For the first time in a long time, Faisal could feel his magic flowing through him, the fox’s magic had awoken his. But as soon as the fox had left his body Faisal could no longer move, and the fox then demeans Faisal calling him “a useless child’s toy”. Just as soon as the fox had finished speaking the door swung open. Quickly the fox possessed Faisal body again this time to try and escape. What the fox didn’t know was that it was the store owner who had just busted in, not the men after him. The fox spirit moved Faisal’s body and tried to jump off the shelf, but the store owner quickly grabbed the doll and sealed the spirit inside him. As soon as this was done Faisal regained control and flipped out of the owner's hands, growing to the height of about 5’6. Faisal did not have full control for long once the spirit had figured out he was trapped, half of his body lunged at the owner as Faisal tried to hold himself back. The owner quickly pressed his thumb agents Faisal's forehead and the kitsune’s possession stopped, standing up Faisal looked at the man who had just sealed a demon inside him. The owner explains that he was the son of Faisal’s master, and overheard the fox demeaning him. So he sealed the spirit inside him so he could use its powers for his own and live once more. The owner apologized to Faisal for this but told him to head to a temple in the mountains, there he could learn how to control the fox's powers. After a hug goodbye, he headed off to hopefully gain control of his new life.

     At one point in time, Faisal had found a small town and wanted to stay there, but he was there for too long and the Kitsune had awoken. Trying to possess him once again was causing heaps of trouble for Faisal, so he had to leave and continue his journey to find this place in the mountains. Finally, Faisal had found a temple high in the mountains with monks who could help him with the fox sprite sealed inside him. The monks were able to remove the seal and the fox spirit quickly ran off into the forest, but only a few hours later Faisal became weak and began to shrink back into his doll form. Moments later a monk came rushing in holding the Kitsune who was also very weak, but once they gave him to Faisal they both started to perk up. The conclusion was that the spell was too powerful for them to break and that Faisal and the fox spirit had to break it themselves. So, on that day they made a deal to work together to try and find a way to break the seal for good. The deal was that Faisal would read the ancient spell and magic books (because the fox can’t read), and in return, he could use the fox’s powers for his own. The other half of the deal was that the fox could use Faisal body when he wants as long as he asked, and doesn’t hurt anyone while in his body.

     Three years have passed since then and the deal has not been broken. Faisal has become more lenient and trusting with the fox, and even lets him perform in his shows with him. The fox, on the other hand, has changed a lot, he is now much more protective over Faisal and will often jump into conversations or situations that Faisal is uncomfortable with. It is easy to tell who’s talking because the fox will take Faisal’s mask off so you can see his yellow eyes when he talks, his tails, ears, and face markings will sometimes appear as well. When he does this he makes sure to cover the scar Faisal hides under his mask with magic, because he knows that Faisal doesn’t like to be stared at. He will normally butt into Faisal’s life when he is feeling scared, upset, concerned but won’t speak up, or trying to play a prank on someone, but normally he'll just speak to Faisal within his head. Faisal has advanced in his ability to use the fox’s magic and his own, he can now not only manifest illusions and move objects but also take the shape of anything he’s touched. Though this can only last for about fifteen minutes, he has been known to put on a good show within his time limit. The fox had also become good at using Faisal's magic and has better control over his “Foxfire” (little balls of fire) whereas before he could not use them at all. But even he has trouble holding it for long periods of time, though if working together they can use it for longer. They both have learned a lot about each other and themselves, and thanks to them working together the fox can even take a physical fox form outside of Faisal's body for as long as he wants. As long as he doesn’t stray too far from Faisal’s side, they can both stay strong and live their lives to finish their mission.
