and sleep awhile?
I like this place between
July fifteenth and the sixteenth
this place between 12:53 and
12:54,
between seventeen and eighteen,
before now becomes then and tomorrow
is today.
It keeps coming and coming.
When did I grow up?
I still remember
wishing I was fifteen more than anything.
Now fifteen looks so young, and I laugh knowing that soon
17 will look you and 18 will look young and 19 and 20 and 25 and
53 will look young.
Can I stop here?
In this place, this safe place?
I'm not ready to leave yet.
