The past few years have been very odd for me. I've felt directionless and unsure about my purpose. Back in school, I felt like I knew what I wanted to do with my life. Then I graduated just in time for the pandemic. After that, I felt like everything I expected for adulthood just fell apart. It makes it hard to want to plan for anything when you're uncertain of what could stand in your way.
I thought I'd draw Alex Guy dealing with this issue. He's been spending almost a decade trying to win over Snifalina's affections. At this point, he's still no closer to accomplishing his goals. He's taken a moment to think about how much he want to have Snifalina as his wife and the mother of his child. He asks for so little else in life, yet he feels the one thing he wants in life is the one thing he can't have, no matter how hard he tries.
