Awhile back, I was looking over some old comments on my profile (because I hate myself and like reminding myself of why, apparently). One was criticizing me for my (at the time) obsession with Rosalina. They claimed that I would have a mental breakdown upon realizing that Rosalina is fictional and that I'd never be able to be with her. I'd say that my recent (i.e. the past 5 years or so, at least) drawings and behavior has indicated that such a sentiment aged poorly.
I thought I'd have Toadette Gal criticize Alex Guy for his similar behavior. He's obsessed with Snifalina, right down to worshiping her, because he's so in love* with her. He wants nothing more in the world than for her to be his wife and the mother of his child. Toadette Gal thinks this is a downright stupid mentality and goal. Snifalina has only the barest of minimums of interesting in being with him romantically, his romantic rival is better than him in every single way, and he's even creeped Snifalina out on occasion. Toadette Gal doubts Alex Guy could get any girl with his behavior and attitude, let alone Snifalina. Not that it matters to him. Any advice he gets goes in one ear and comes out the other.
