Danny Phantom was the first show I can remember eagerly anticipating the premiere of. I really liked The Fairly OddParents and a new show by Butchy boy sounded awesome. It helps that I was really into superheroes at the time. I recorded every episode and watched them multiple times, really liking Danny as well as the fiends he fought, especially Ember. Sadly, my family’s DVR got corrupted and I lost all the episodes I saved, and the loss hurt me so much that I stopped watching the series. So I missed out on the seasons that fans feel are really good, but also missed out of the final season, which fans weren’t fond of.

I figured Sam would make for a good representative in Danny Phantom’s style. While Sam’s older than Danny, at about 17 or 18, they’re both teenage heroes who wear tight suits and use cylindrical weapons for bounty hunting. Like Cosima , I wanted to go with a dynamic pose for Sam. I thought Danny’s pose when he goes ghost in the intro as reference. And now you know what he’s gotta do: he’s gotta stop all the thugs that are comin’ through!
