I've mentioned before that I started going to therapy earlier this year. I decided my mental health had taken too much of a beating over the past 2 years, coupled with trauma from 2011. I was finally tired of it and felt that I should try to do something about it. And it's honestly been very helpful. I fully recommend therapy to anyone who is struggling with their own mental health issues.
Since Nail is basically the embodiment of my mental health issues, I thought I'd discuss the possibility of him going to therapy. He clearly needs help with his suicidal depression, outside of taking anti-depressants (not that taking medication is bad, but it's clearly not enough). The biggest problem with him doing so is finances. He doesn't have a job, so he doesn't have an income or insurance to pay for therapy, and while his parents are likely the ones paying for his medication, he's doesn't feel like demanding more of their money, even if it's for his mental health. Tempo thinks he could probably apply for welfare. Because he does have a physical handicap, in that his hands don't function properly, it's entirely possible he could apply for some form of welfare that would allow him to pay for therapy.
