Alex Guy's favorite foods are tacos and pizza. His main reason for this is that they use the four food groups: bread/grains, fruits/vegetables, meat, and dairy. As far as he's concerned, each of those foods is a balanced meal of the major food groups. However, Dr. Guy has come in to explain why pizza specifically is unhealthy. With the combination of meat and cheese, pizza creates a thin layer of grease on it. And unlike other methods for cooking meat and/or cheese, there's nowhere for the grease to go, so it just stays on the pizza, making it significantly less healthy.
So while pizza is tasty, it shouldn't be treated as some kind of perfect food. Enjoy pizza but eat it in moderation.
