Bullying is such a strange thing. In spite of how fiction portrays it, very few people, if any, bully someone with the intent purpose of bullying. Whether it's through being victims of trauma themselves who are unable to break the chain or because their upbringing has caused them a sense of elitism, people who are bullies do what they do generally with a lack of self-awareness and a desire to be superior to someone. And so many bullies can spin a situation to make it look like they're the victims, such as by victim-blaming the actual victim. It's why, even if I understand where they're coming from, I don't like bullies.
I thought I'd draw Tempo standing up to Izzy. Izzy's been harassing and verbally abusing Tempo for years at this point. No matter what Tempo does, Izzy is there to gloat and taunt her. It's really taken a toll on Tempo's self-esteem, and she's had it. She knows Izzy won't listen to a heartfelt explanation of why her behavior negatively affects Tempo's mental health, so Tempo's gone for yelling at her. The only problem is that, regardless of delivery method, Izzy doesn't believe she's a bully. She thinks she's just brutally honest and Tempo is a whiny crybaby who can't stand the "truth."
