EDITwell I have come to the conclusion I cannot leave this kitten at its previous owner.. she will just die... and that is not fair for such a sweet baby... so I will rescue this poor baby and I will be excepting donations for the veterinary cost it will take to fix her... after she is healthy and well she will NOT be going back to her previous owners.. she will either be put up for new owners or I will adopt her.. please if you can donate anything for this baby please note me...
please do not feel obligated to send anything

This cat belongs to our neighbors... it has a serious respiratory infection and missing an eyeball... she is very loving and sweet playful and happy for life... over here... I bring her back to our neighbors and the cat freaks.. she is scared of them!! no wonder with two demon children over there... the lady "mother" I talked to said "oh she had and eye infection and the eyeball just came out." dumbfounded I think... and you did what? nothing? you let the poor baby suffer? Then she goes on saying.. "yea, we have another one that is missing an eye."
They do nothing to take care of their animals.. they have (assuming) 30 running around... none spayed or neutered, all are covered in fleas, all with infected eyes, and they do nothing... no vet help... you know what she told her daughter (who was running around outside with only underwear on) "Take this cat and put it on the back porch"
yea that's gunna help the poor thing out...People like that do not deserve to have pets of any sorts... I can almost bet money on the fact that their demon son (who runs around outside each day beating the snot out of things) had something to do with the cats eyes... I hate them... I hate everything about them... people like that diverse only what they give.. and to their animals that is nothing...
Help stop animal abuse and neglect.. if you see anything like this or worse.. call your ASPCA, cops anyone... Don't let animals suffer...

That's so sad! It's so terrible seeing things like this.
I'm glad you are able to take her and give her a better chance at life though. :3 She looks like a sweet and beautiful kitten. n_n and she's my favorite color combination too on a cat.

This is horrible,I was watching a show about a sort of vet police (they were in Australia I think)and they came across a similar situation,an house,god knows how many cat,many in terrible conditions (about 4 had to be put down after beign rescued) and they even found 2 dead on the floor,and when they went to the talk to the owned of the house she said the cats were not neglected!
Anyway...I think it's great what you're doing and I'm sure you'll get the help of many,I can't donate as I don't have a job and I have 5 cats,3 dogs and daily feed some strays too.I'm sure you'll bring her back to healt and if in the end you won't be able to keep her (but somenthing tells me you 'll have problems parting from her
But I think of all the others....you have to do somenthing or you know how it is going to end for the poor things.I can tell you care

I checked where you are from and checked what the laws says in Tennesse and it says
"TENN. CODE ANN. 39-14-201 et seq. -- last amended 2002
Definition of Animal: A domesticated living creature or a wild creature previously captured.
Statute Summary: A person commits the crime of cruelty to animals if the person:
Intentionally or knowingly tortures, maims, grossly overworks, fails to provide necessary food, water, care or shelter for an animal, abandons, transports in a cruel manner, inflicts burns, cuts, lacerations, or other injuries or pain to any animal by any method including blistering compounds to the legs or hooves of horses.
A person commits the crime of aggravated cruelty to animals if the person:
Intentionally kills or intentionally causes serious physical injury to a companion animal.
So clearly they're breaking the law by not giving necessary care to the cats....or even torturing them but you have no proof of that.
So anyway you can call the police on them,we know probably they won't care but you can underline how some cat's desise can be a treat to humans too,that all those ill cats can be a treat for all the neighboroud and maybe you should also talk about the weird beahvior of the kids,I think somenthing is wrong with this family and if the kids behave like that is the parents fault,I think they may be victims of some sort too.
If the police don't want to listen just tell them there's noting left to do for you than bring this (even that they didn't do a damn thing)to te public by contacting some local paper or tv,I bet that will make some police officer ass get of their chair
Here's the contact page of Tennesse's SPCA [link] wich I think you contacted already but maybe they can advise you on what you can do.Also in case police do somenthing and the family claims the cats are just srays than the SPCA will have to do somenthing
Also here is the "report cruelty" PETA page [link] ,of course the danger is not imminent and it's no a seal or tiger in danger but if you send an e-mail explaining the case and also who you contacted already and didn't listen or do somenthing maybe they will at list give you some options.
I did this so all you'll have to do is send an e-mail or make a phone call,but I did it cause all I can think about is that documentary I watched and how seriusly wrong and horrible things can get for the cats in a home and how things can stay hidden from the neigbours eyes,also for real there are desises that cats carry and trasmit to humans,some deadly.

PS I have a blind cat,with one eyeball missing (not due to lack of care we found him like this) and not only he's the sweetest cat,he can do all the other cats can do and more,it's amazing how he runs and move aroung,jump on places and all,you forget he's blind. So don't worry about this one,yes you'll never be able to give her eye back,but after she'll be cared for and know some love the eye won't matter anymore!

You've been brave and really correct picking her out of that hell...is where you live any law about public hygiene?if the authorities won't do anything for the right cause, maybe you can have the same result by denouncing your neightbours for something else. Like if your house/pets have parasites they get from your neightbour's house....

i am so on the verge of crying that I'm angry.. i have a cat that we found as a baby in my backyard... we're not cat people but we kept her and to think of her ever being in pain and agony like this cat must have gone through makes me very bitter inside.. i'm trying to stop myself from wishing death or better on that woman for being so heartless. i know better than to be so venomous, but i'm starting to cry again from thinking about how scared she must have felt when her eye came out. i'm so mad I'd actually want to hunt that woman down.. i hope you've called the police on her. hopefully her children get taken away too.

Even though some of you must be vegan or vegetarian, there are certain animals who deserve to be eaten, but not this cat.
If what you say is true, then call them, or if you want to take matters into your own hands, if you are willing to risk it for a good cause, then steal them your self. Personally I would spray the mother with pepper spray and then fuck her up.

My suggestion: call your nearest news station. tell them that you have already tried contacting the city and the humane society. from working in the news, i know they might ask you to talk on camera, I would consider it.

I don't know which state you're in but usually there's at least four or five news stations in the nearest large city. They're always looking for stories like this and it would be a good way for you to get people interested in helping out.
I'd like to send some money to you to help out but give me some time to figure out how to safely send it to you.

yea I have some ideas on how to get this out and public and do something about the owners.. animals abuse is only a misdemeanor in TN but its better than nothing
I was thinking of three ways to send money if people are willing... I have a PO box or straight through to the vet once the cat is there... (I don't know how trust worthy they are though) and then my husband has a paypal account.. so what ever would be best for you is fine any way.. and thank you so much.. I could never say that enough
