Kace was remined in the Firetribe after a fire broke out and Rye Rescued him and Thunder. A week later, Sol decided to give Thunder to Eclipse to watch over her because Sol couldn't care for her. Kace grew more and more distant from others, but he met a dragon named Bluebell who had cared for him since they were little. One day, when Kace was trying to find Bluebell and discovered her body under a dead tree, Kace screamed, running back to the Firetribe to tell Sol.

When Kace was an adult, he found a female rogue named Adder who was badly injured. Kace picked the injured rogue up, and he later started showing feelings for her. Adder had feelings for him, and they fell in love.

Years later, they had two daughters named Snow and Hawkclaw.

Kace started his stroll and heard a scream from Sol. He ran to follow the scream and saw the wolves retreating, and the firetribes were in war. He stopped and saw Eclipse holding their mother, who died from her broken neck, which made Kace sad and angry. He grabbed one of the wolves and snapped their necks like they did to Sol.
