Description
He was found by the firetribes when he was little and was lost. He decided to stay in the firetribe and met Sol when he was a kid. They became best friends and became friends with Eclipse's father. Soon they grew up. A war broke out between the ice and fire tribes, and Rye and Sol escaped and witnessed Rune killing Eclipse's father. They made a promise to protect him and take care of Sol. He started comforting her while she was grieving for her loss, and soon they fell in love.

Rye got attacked by Warden, an Exiled Firetribe member who broke the tribe code by falling in love with an Icetribe secretly, and soon retreated after Rye badly injured him and shot quills at him. He then ran back into the woods while Rye was in pain and started getting sick, and the old healer managed to make a cure from the quills and cure the quills that were stuck in his ear and pulled the quills out of his face and out of his eye, making him half blind.

Years later, Rye and Sol had a son and daughter. When they were born, a fire broke out in the Firetribe, making them evacuate from the blaze, but Rye ran back into the fire and grabbed Kace and Thunder. He saw Thunder's arm was severely burnt, and they managed to escape, but Rye had a bad burn mark on his back and part of his ear was burnt.

Rye attacked a mysterious murderer who killed Sol and managed to kill the murderer and bring it back to the firetribe.
